These beautiful buckets are our first attempt into the colored quartz market, Dec. 2019, and so far has been the most challenging color to master. If we were to number each variance that we’ve been through prototyping these material combinations, what is currently available would be version NO.11. Unlike clear quartz, red quartz absorbs all the IR radiation from the torch or other heating elements allowing it to heat up much faster. Currently, we prefer it for the Cold-Start technique but encourage everyone to try all the techs and share what’s best for them 🙂
